Rise efficiency through high quality rubber transmission belts

Transmission belts are one of the best means to transmit power between shafts that may not necessarily be parallel. These belts are flexible machinery parts used to link several rotating parallel shafts and are extensively used in various machine driven industries. It can either drive a pulley in one direction if the shafts are parallel or it can be crossed to reverse the direction of the shaft if it is not parallel. They are considered to be one of the cheapest utility for transmission of power. They are specially designed belts and pulleys which are used in large manufacturing industries like petroleum industries etc. It is basically used in a belt driven system and requires very little maintenance and runs smoothly without producing a too much noise. Belt driven system provide uninterrupted functioning of machines without making them overloaded. An added advantage of belt driven systems is that different speeds can also be obtained with the help of pulleys. However the correct application of belt driven system can have an impact on the machine making it run efficiently.

It is preferable to choose from high quality rubber transmission belts as they are longer lasting and also have a longer quality of life. They are of different types but they are used for the same purpose that is to transmit power. The different types are flat belts which are widely used to transmit power in factories related to water pumps, sawmills etc. V belts are another kind of belt that are common as they solve the slippage and alignment problems in shafts. Multi groove belts are generally thinner, wider providing more flexibility than the other kind of belt. Apart from these common belts there are also ribbed belt, round belt, timing belts and film belts which are used for transmission of power.

Transmission belts can be used in an open belt drive or cross belt drive. An open belt drive system has parallel rotating shafts in the same direction and a cross belt drive has parallel rotating shafts but they rotate in the opposite directions. An open belt drive system is more preferable than a cross belt drive belt drive system as a cross belt drive system does not support all kinds of belts like timing belts or V belts.

We offer a wide range of transmission belts in different designs, shapes and sizes. We also provide the freedom to our clients to customize these belts according to their industry requirements and needs. They are designed to provide tensile strength and function even under extreme weather conditions.
